Every year, the Barbados Horticultural Society holds an Open Garden Programme during January and February, whereby private gardens are opened to the public. This event happens on a Sunday afternoon between 2:00PM and 6:00PM.
This past Sunday, 22nd February 2015, the Open Garden evening was held at one of Blue Sky Luxury’s Flagship villas, Fustic House Private Estate. Designed by the renowned theatrical designer Oliver Messel, Fustic House is set on 11 acres of tropical gardens designed by Todd Langstaffe-Gowan and was recently updated by the current owner of the property. The spectacular estate was the perfect location for the Barbados Horticultural Society’s evening as the tropical gardens are simply echanting. The event had a record attendance of over 300 people coming to view the property.
