COME AND JOIN IN THE FUN….

From little events in tiny rum shops, to grand outdoor concerts, from piping along the South Coast Boardwalk at sundown, to ceilidhs in the sun, Bajan buffet lunches with a Celtic theme to the dishes…you will hear the tunes of the pipes, some beautiful folk music and song celebrating our cultural heritage and connections, see some ancient step dances…

Celtic Festival Barbados celebrates a somewhat turbulent 300-year history of the Celts in the Caribbean. Many were sent here by Cromwell as indentured servants to work the sugar plantations and today, their descendants have Celtic blood. Some of them were knicknamed the Redlegs. There is a Scotland District in Barbados, and a St Andrews Parish and the Redleg Descendants of the Scots.

The line of entertainment is excellent and we’d be happy to arrange tickets and reservations as required through our Conceirge Can specialist here at Blue Sky Luxury.  This link has a flyer with more detials on how you can enjoy the Celtic Festival Barbados 2013 between May 23rd – 29th.
